Argentina Mate Tea Ritual
Welcome to our Argentina Mate Tea Workshop! This workshop is perfect for anyone who is interested in experiencing the cultural and social tradition of Argentina's mate ceremony. Mate is a type of tea made from the leaves of the yerba mate plant, and the ceremony of sharing mate is a beloved aspect of Argentine culture that promotes social bonding, communication, and trust among individuals. Our workshop will give you a chance to learn about the history and mythology of this traditional South American tea, and experience it in the way local Argentinians drink it.
The workshop will last between 60-90 minutes, and during this time, you will get to enjoy the human touch of friendship and socialization, as well as learn about the myths and legends surrounding the South American tea. You will be served four different flavors of mate, which you can savor and appreciate in a communal setting.
Before the tea ceremony, we recommend dressing casually but respectfully. Please keep in mind that this is a traditional event, and we want to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and respectful. We will provide freestyle refreshments to enjoy throughout the workshop.
In terms of catering, we can accommodate a variety of dietary needs, including vegan, vegetarian, keto, and sugar-free diets. All of our food is served in a facility with peanuts, nuts, and soy, so please be aware of potential allergens.
The price for our Argentina Mate Tea Workshop is $75 per person, and we can accommodate a maximum of 10 attendees. Whether you are interested in learning about the culture and history behind this beloved tea, or simply want to experience it in a communal setting, our workshop is the perfect opportunity to do so.
