Step into the lively spirit of Argentina with our Mate Tea Workshop, a joyful celebration of one of the country’s most treasured traditions. More than just a drink, mate—brewed from the leaves of the yerba mate plant—is a symbol of friendship, warmth, and connection. In Argentina, passing the mate gourd is a heartfelt ritual that brings people together, and now you can experience it just as the locals do.
Over 60 to 90 delightful minutes, we will guide you through the fascinating history, rich mythology, and deep cultural significance of this beloved South American tea. Along the way, you will enjoy four unique flavors of mate, each shared in a welcoming communal circle that captures the true spirit of togetherness.
Dress comfortably and respectfully, and settle in for an afternoon of conversation, laughter, and discovery. Freestyle refreshments will be on hand, adding even more flavor to your experience.
We happily accommodate vegan, vegetarian, keto, and sugar-free diets, though please note that all food is prepared in a facility that also handles peanuts, nuts, and soy.
Spaces are limited to just 10 guests, and tickets are $75 per participant. Whether you are curious about Argentine culture, a lover of tea traditions, or simply looking for a warm and memorable experience, this workshop will leave you with new flavors, new stories, and maybe even new friends.
