Returns and Exchanges

We want you to love your purchase every time! If for any reason you're not completely satisfied with your unused tea accessories, we offer hassle-free returns and exchanges.

Unfortunately, due to hygiene reasons, we're not able to accept returns or exchanges for consumable items like loose teas. However, if you notice that your items are incorrect, damaged, or incomplete, please reach out to us at bonteaplace@gmail.com and we'll make it right!

To return or exchange an item, there are a few important conditions that must be met. Your item(s) must be returned within 14 days from the date you received it and be in their original, unused, unaltered, and unwashed condition. Please be sure to include your original receipts, tags, and packaging to ensure a smooth process.

Thanks for returning your items to Good Tea Place! Once we received your package, we'll give everything a thorough inspection and send you a quick notification to let you know we've received your items.

After inspection, we'll promptly update you on the status of your refund. If your return is approved, we can either initiate a refund to your original method of payment or provide you with a store credit in the form of a Good Tea Place gift card, which can be used online or in-store.

If you opt for a refund, the amount will be credited back to your account according to your card issuer's policies. If you choose store credit, you'll receive an e-mail card at the designated e-mail address on your order.

Tea Ceremony & Workshop Policies

Please note that once access to our tea ceremony workshop has been scheduled, we don't offer refunds. However, if you haven't scheduled your workshop yet, we're happy to offer store credit in exchange. If you have any questions or concerns, just let us know - we're always here to help!

How to return your item?

To return your purchase, please send it to our mailing address at 1 Oak Street, Guelph, Ontario N1G2M8. However, before shipping the item, please get in touch with us to obtain our consent.

If you're seeking a refund or exchange that wasn't caused by an error on our part, you'll be responsible for covering your own shipping expenses. Please keep in mind that shipping costs are non-refundable and that if you receive a refund, the shipping cost will be deducted from it.

Please note that you're also responsible for covering the costs of returning the item. Shipping costs for your order are based on the total weight of the order, and delivery and processing times depend on normal business volumes and your location. During peak seasons and holidays, order processing times may increase.

Good Tea Place cannot be held responsible for undeliverables packages caused by incorrect addresses, missing information, or a lack of someone to receive the package. If your address has a suite, apartment, or building number, please ensure that you include it when placing your order.

Please note that Good Tea Place cannot be held responsible for delays caused by acts beyond our control, such as weather conditions, mechanical failures, strikes, pandemics, or other such circumstances.

For fragile items, such as tea accessories, please choose a sturdy, high-quality, corrugated cardboard box. Use reinforced tape to seal all seams, and wrap or secure the item using plastic foam, bubble wrap, tissue paper, or newspaper. Make sure to label the box with the word "FRAGILE" on both the top and the side.
